Hell

This has been a trying week at work. Management as always sucks and existing policies that have been around that were never enforced are now enforced. I fully understand the importance of having rules in place; but its just mind boggling the way our management goes about it. I used to stand up for him all the time when people doubted he could do the work.

I was blind.

Blinded at the fact that he was a nice guy, blinded at the fact that I felt sorry for him because nobody talked to him.

Now I know why.

He's two faced. He's only nice to the one coworker we have here and theres a whole (backstory to that also) and his superiors.

He is not appreciative for all the work we do for him and most of all; he is not a manager.

His skills as a manager is weak. He thinks being a boss is just giving work to people. WRONG. He needs to see that nobody here is happy and now i'm questioning why I'm busting my butt? Just to make him look good? It's not benefiting me in any way. Hard work is not rewarded here, its taken for granted. Its taken advantage of because we complete the work.

My biggest gripe is he doesnt show interest for his staff. I could care less about his personal life; but he needs to realize that he needs to do something to get morale back up. He doesn't take the time to have a quick chat, just to acknowledge that we are people.

The staff, minus him are a tightly knit group. We would chat every now and then but now that has been taken away. We have lost the human element in all this. We are forced to sit in front of our computer monitors (the irony) for 4 hours straight with just a 30 min lunch break oh and how can I forget the mandatory 2 15 min breaks we are allowed. Its sad that he doesnt see how unhappy this place is.

It doesnt help that he has his "spy" tattle telling on everyone for such minute things or when things dont go her way.

I really think he needs to look in the mirror and see what he has become. He has become souless. He has no personality. He has become a marionette; a simple puppet to another person's goal.

Hate to say it, but he did not earn his position. He was given it and he has no idea how to handle it.

I can honestly say I cannot wait to see this come crashing down.
